Reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant to stay at Bayview on the Park Melbourne, but I was glad we did as we found it to be everything we wanted, it was friendly, clean and comfortable, oh and was reasonably priced - good value for your money! It had been recommended by friends who is a local, so I am glad we listened to them and not the reviews. We had our two kids with us and the hotel staff was great and child friendly. My husband thought it was a great place and wants to come back to the Bayview On The Park Melbourne for the Grand Prix and stay here as it is in a perfect location, just across the road. It is really so central for so many events that are held in Melbourne.

Our room was a generous size and room service was good. There is also a gym you can use, but it is just small, nothing much but fine for a bit of a workout. Aircon worked well in the room. You could hear a little bit of noise from Queens Road, but not much. Room service was excellent. There is Internet access from the room and is a little bit expensive, but with the kids, it was handy to use, or if you prefer you can use the business centre. There is an outdoor pool and spa and a nice bar area to sit back and relax.
